Telekom Malaysia restores services in Miri

Telekom Malaysia (TM) has restored services in Miri after contractors working near the company's exchange there damaged cables. 

The incident happened on 24th December and Telekom Malaysia has now restored services and reconnected all 4,000 lines, the Borneo Post reports. 

Initially, Telekom Malaysia had expected to restore most services before midnight on 26th December but the repair teams needed more time as a number of lines continued to be affected.
